(Dan Tri) – After Tet, the skin may have acne or become pale and less vital.
During Tet, consuming a lot of high-fat foods, soft drinks, beer and alcohol… can cause acne on the skin.
Below are ways to help restore a fresh, smooth appearance to your skin.
Herbal steam bath: Steam bath with ingredients from the kitchen such as ginger, perilla, lemongrass, lemon… to eliminate sebum and dirt that has accumulated under the skin for a long time.
Do not wash your face with a towel: Rubbing your face with a towel causes wrinkles to form prematurely, and also makes inflammatory acne spots on the skin worse.
Don’t go to bed with an unwashed face: Makeup, dirt, and sebum that accumulates on the skin all day causes clogged pores.
Using acne treatment products: Some over-the-counter medications in the form of gels and creams containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, adapalene (a topical retinoid)… are used to treat acne.
Change your habit of using cosmetics: If your skin has acne after Tet, you should temporarily stop using makeup to focus on treating acne.
Build a healthy diet: Healthline reports that if you consume a lot of sugar-rich foods, your blood sugar level will increase rapidly, releasing the hormone IGF-1.
Go to bed early: The habit of sleeping early helps reduce the risk of acne.
