Criminal Police: Mother’s Tears (1997)

Criminal Police is Vietnam’s first television series, and also the first crime-themed film to be released to the public.

Following the first part titled Upstream of Death, the movie Mother’s Tears has brought the Criminal Police series to new heights.

The film attracts audiences with its dramatic developments during the police investigation process, while also bringing a different perspective on the lives of criminals.

Criminal Police: White Collar (2002)

White Collar consists of 2 parts with the script inspired by the details of the criminal case of gangster Nam Cam.

In the film, the role of `only` tycoon Tien (a character modeled after Nam Cam in real life) played by the late Meritorious Artist Hong Duc (died on April 22, 2023) left many impressions on the audience.

Criminal police: Running a case (2006 – 2008)

The two films Running the Case are considered the most successful in the Criminal Police series.

In the film, the character Cao Thanh Lam, played by Viet Anh, left an impression on a large audience.

The role brought Viet Anh’s name to the peak of his career.

The Judge (2017)

The film The Judge was Vietnameseized from an Israeli script, depicting the life of Phan Quan (played by the late People’s Artist Hoang Dung) – a tycoon in the underworld, hiding in the shadow of a successful businessman.

Phan Quan has a stepson, named Le Thanh (Hong Dang) – a talented and calm psychologist.

The film ends when Phan Quan, Phan Hai and other individuals related to Phan Thi – the tycoon’s corporation – are arrested.
