MG HS 2023 will launch in July, returning to Vietnam to compete against CX5 and CR-V

(Dan Tri) – MG HS 2023 will be the first product brought back after this brand changed distributors in Vietnam.

Sales consultants say the MG HS 2023 will be launched in Vietnam next July.

This information has not been confirmed by MG Vietnam.

It is unclear how many versions the MG HS 2023 will have when it returns home, but in Thailand, the car has 5 versions including 1 plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

In the international market, the MG HS 2023 is equipped with front/rear LED lights and 18-inch alloy wheels on the outside.

Other convenient equipment includes: automatic air conditioning with integrated PM 2.5 fine dust filter, electric front row seats, electronic handbrake with integrated automatic brake hold, panoramic sunroof, interior decorative lights.

In terms of performance, MG HS 2023 in Thailand has 2 engine options.

The second is a hybrid powertrain consisting of the above turbocharged engine combined with a 122 horsepower electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The MG HS 2023 switch to importing complete units from Thailand will help this car model eliminate prejudice against Chinese cars, making it more accessible to a large number of users.

MG HS first launched in Vietnam in 2020. Although it has a better price than competitors in the same segment, it still often `struggles` to find customers.

In addition to the MG HS 2023, the dealer said SAIC will most likely bring back the MG7 – a D-class sedan of the same size as the Toyota Camry and the MG4 – an electric car model `sharing the same tray` with the VinFast VF e34, once introduced at the exhibition.
