In the 1970s, 80s and 90s of the last century, street photographer Chris Porsz spent hours walking around the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (UK) taking photos of hundreds of strangers.
After 40 years, Porsz came up with a unique and not easy idea: to find the characters in his old photos to recreate their own photos.
His photographic works were collected and published in a book called Reunion.
Punks Tina Tarr and her ex-husband Dog were photographed by Porsz near the Cathedral in Peterborough when the two were just 18 years old.
The old photo captured the romantic moment when Tony Wilmot and his girlfriend Sally said goodbye at Peterborough train station in 1980. A year later they were married.
Andy, one of the 5 characters in the photo, shared: `That year in our class there were only about 70 students so we were all really close.
The photo on the left was taken when Punk Badger Farcue won the Pizza Eating Contest in the city’s Cathedral Square, when he was 20 years old.
Shehnaz Begum, her twin sister Rukhsana and her sister Itrat (from left to right) were photographed by the photographer sitting outside the window of their home on Cromwell Road.
The four men in the picture are still good friends and were happy to pose for a reunion photo.
Steve Osborn became known as Metal Mickey in the 1980s when he broke both of his legs in a traffic accident.
The photo was taken in the city center’s Cathedral Square with five close childhood friends: Penny, Sarah, Louise, Carole and Juliette.

Genesio (Gino) Borrillo bought an ice cream van when he moved to Peterborough from Italy and traveled around town in the summer selling ice cream.
