(Dan Tri) – The Kremlin said the expected US military aid package for Ukraine will not change the situation on the front lines.

`The Russian armed forces are improving their position on the front… The money allocated and the number of weapons supplied will not change this dynamic,` Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
`The aid package will lead to new victims on the Ukrainian side. More Ukrainians will die, Ukraine will suffer greater losses,` Mr. Peskov added.
After months of deadlock, the US House of Representatives on April 20 approved nearly $61 billion in aid to Ukraine.
Accordingly, more than 1/3 of the aid package, equivalent to 23.2 billion USD, is used to supplement weapons, infrastructure, and warehouses;
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Washington to quickly turn the bill into law and proceed with weapons transfers, saying long-range weapons and air defense systems are Kiev’s top priorities.

However, Russia said the US defense industry will be the real beneficiary of this aid package.
