(Dan Tri) – The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that Ukraine’s peace formula will only bring results if the West stops supplying weapons to Kiev.

Ms. Zakharova’s statement came after European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell admitted that the conflict in Ukraine could end quickly in `a few weeks`.
`I know how to end the war in Ukraine. I can end the war in Ukraine in a few weeks just by cutting off the supply. If I cut off the supply of weapons to Ukraine, Ukraine cannot resist, they will have to surrender.`
According to Ms. Zakharova, weapons shipped to Ukraine are appearing in Western countries.
`Terrorist attacks were carried out all over the world, including directly on the territory of Western countries, which involved these weapons (weapons supplied to Ukraine),` the official said.
`These weapons are used not only in terrorist attacks but also in conflict zones, and no citizen of Western countries is safe from being a victim of such weapons.`
Ms. Zakharova said Russia is ready to consider serious proposals on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, but will not accept threats.

The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the country has invited more than 160 delegations to the peace conference on Ukraine, including G7, G20 and BRICS countries.
According to a statement by the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the purpose of the June 15-16 conference in Burgenstock is to `bring the future peace process closer and develop practical steps towards it`.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman announced that Moscow would not participate in the conference on Ukraine in Switzerland, or any other event related to the `peace formula` of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Commenting on the peace conference, Vice Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said: `What benefits does the Swiss peace conference bring to Russia? Basically, this will be another proof of the
Kiev’s peace formula calls for Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory, as well as establish a court to prosecute top Russian officials for waging the war.
Russia announced its willingness to negotiate, but on the condition that Ukraine must acknowledge `new territorial realities`.
